Amazonite
Amazonite is a striking green to turquoise-coloured stone that was named after the Amazon River, although it is not found there. Some amazonite can appear in shades of blue, and the intensity of colours is dependent on the region from which it is sourced. Traditionally, amazonite has been regarded as a symbol of hope and harmony. In ancient cultures, it was thought to help with communication and bring a sense of tranquility.
